Machel Montano has done it again. The King of Soca, retained his Power Soca Monarch Title for 2012 Carnival season at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Post of Spain, Trinidad, early this morning. The song that did it for him was his Smash Hit "P.Y.F Pump Yuh Flag" . Here's the twist, Not only did he win the Power Soca Monarch but he also won the Groovy Soca Monarch Title with his next smash "Mr. Fete".  Now if you know anything about the Soca Competition, you would know that this win is met with a side eye to many who felt that Iwer George, Soca/Calypso Veteran and people champion should have won this year for his smash "No Pain".  These competitions are a staple for the Carnival Season in TNT because the Power Monarch Crown comes with a $2 Million Dollar prize and the Groovy Monarch Crown comes with a $500 Thousand Dollar prize.
